Developed by the Mackinac Bridge Authority, the park offers wonderful views of the bridge and a telescope to view details, a pavilion with photos and video about the history and construction of the bridge, which is now a registered National Architectural Landmark. The park is open mid-April through November 7am-9pm. Access by Boulevard Dr south from U.S.2 just west of I-75, or take southbound I-75 and exit just before the toll booths–watch for park entrance on right.

Operated by the City of St Ignace, this museum explores the life of the Straits Area 300 years ago when the Ojibwa, Huron, Odawa interacted with the French during this early contact period, and the French Jesuit Mission. The grounds are the location of a significant archaeological site. Displays in the museum discuss the archaeology and history of the site. On the National Register of Historic Places. A replica of a Huron longhouse is on the site. Gift shop of Native American arts and crafts. Located at the north end of the boardwalk, next to the Chamber of Commerce.

Located in the Straits State Park, just west of I-75 south of U.S. 2. The memorial enclosure explains the history and significance of Father Marquette. There is also an interpretive trail, and views of the Mackinac Bridge. Entrance is off Boulevard Dr., south off of U.S. 2.
